Being English born Gyaru, most of us don't read every single blog that relates in anyway to gyaru. Well, in my small career as one I want to share these posts that will blow your mind with clarity for the gyaru look. Please enjoy:
First off we are going to start with eye makeup. I'm not the best but I feel perfection is fast approaching when Gigi mentioned this post to me during a chat on G+. It talks about the different eye styles and how to do them. You can find this post here.
Next, we are going to work with the true foundation of all makeup, skin care. This article talks about the appropriate was to apply the many skin care products you'll be bound to use since makeup can take a toll on our faces. You can see this at BirchBox.
Continuing with skin care, my good facebook pal Sharday has given a in depth tutorial on how to properly give yourself a facial. She uses drugstore products, and promotes popping zits and black heads as such. You can view this wonderful guide here.
Next we are delving into the shopping aspect of Gyaru. Now I know this isn't a 'Gyaru Article' The same information applies across and fashion style. It will help you decide when where and how to spend your money for brand pieces and such. This is crucial for the American Gyaru since she can't simply walk in to Shibuya109 when ever she please. You can find this article at the Parfait Doll blog.
And now we will conclude this list with another article from the ParFait Doll blog, Hime-Lolita its very intriguing, pulling together the best of both worlds. If you're a Hime Gyaru and you're looking for a little inspriation, try checking out this guide: Miniature Marie Antoinettes: The Complete Hime-Lolita Guide.
Now I assure you there are plently more 'hidden jewels' scattered across the internet. Maybe there will be a follow up post to this. I'm not sure. However, if you know of a blog post/article/blogger that has helped you understand in an unusual way, please comment below and I'll add it to the next post. I will post your name as credit, thanking you for mentioning it.
Ciao for now.
