At the end of this post, a few of you may be a lil irritated with me.
First of all... how the fuck are you married to someone and not notice their eating habits?! The wife had to be a stay at home type. And you could tell they only got married because of the baby. The marriage and age of the child is similar.
Second, I bet she was on his computer to see if he was cheating on her. There are some men out there that see women as a "piece of meat" (pun intended) and looky here, he doesn't want to go down on them, no! He's cataloging the best seasonings with that.
Hmm... I wonder if he gathered seasonings according to his victims demographic area? after all if they have those seasonings in their normal diet, he could enhance their "flavor."
And finally, the only reason why this story had come to light is because of all the other "cannibal" and "zombie" stories coming out.
Would any of us feel different if he choose victims that are convicted criminals that was proven to harm children, rape men (1, 2,3, 4), and performed terrorists acts? Am I the only one seeing this as a solution to the death penalty?

I'm looking at the whole picture. From the beginning of the 'marriage' to the end. I'm also assuming that he's actually planning on doing it, and not as some hoax to spook his wife. A woman would not marry a man, if there was something up about his eating habits.
I'm sorry, but I can't expect a man to want to have sex and procreate if his main 'diet' is what he sleeps with. She should have known what's up in the beginning. Did they share meals together? Did he stock up the deep freezer with "special cuts of beef?" was he upset that she wasn't cooking his food right, therefore the list was created? How long was he doing this? What about his parents?
I know its a horrible thing to find out really. However, since this has obviously been going on for the longest time, why not use it to punish criminals? It may be wrong, but so is establishing human rights just to take them away from people, rape (and those who try to redefine it), murder, racism, lynching, gang violence, dumbing down our nations youth, using a religion to belittle defame people based on who they love and what they believe in, creating welfare systems that just prevents attaining a decent quality of life, fucking with the problems of our nations just to gather oil, raising oil prices just because they didn't like out a debate resulted, and... so many more things we should be worrying about than ONE MAN, trying his best to satisfying his hunger in the best way that helps himself and his city.
