Happy February Eve everyone!

I hope you are all gearing up for this lustrous month! I'm going to share with you some of the things I plan on completing this month.

Hello, I'm making this status update for anyone that has messaged me for a friend request or is trying to contact me:

1. I'm not going to approve Facebook friend requests unless you are in the same facebook groups that I am in. And I only actively participate in 3.

2. If you would like to chat and talk about hair, makeup, or Gyaru please send me a message through my blog's contact page here: If we hit it off,  I'll send you a friend request or ask to recieve one.

3. If we are currently not friends: I'm sorry but I'm trying to cut out as much drama out of my life as possible. And since 40% of it is online, that get's chopped off first.

3A. In case your wondering, yes I'm a mod @ G_S, and the only why I am is to be a backup for the backups and to contact other mods to take down secrets for others. (you'd be surprised at how many people contact me to take down secrets I didn't post)

Gal Secret Response: I know you're looking forward to this

Good evening everyone,

It's about 12:00 midnight as I write this.

I took a look at G_S tonight. Gigi had mentioned something to me about it. Usually I'm sleeping most of the day and staying up all night. I woke up at 8pm to read the message she sent me. And of course I went to look when I'm not supposed to.  I'm not really impressed with the secrets. I'm surprised at the blog header one. But to be honest, there are some gal blogs out there that I can't read worth shit unless I either highlight it, or copy and paste it in to a word processor. But sometimes I don't and skip the blog completely. So before you critique my header, take a look at your content and make sure I can read it before criticizing.

OMG! That hair - a brief interview with Bree

You can find Bree at her blog Galaxy Sprinkles.

Now you may all be wondering, how did she get her hair like that?! Let me tell you I was thinking the same thing! We just happen to be involved in a Facebook group when I was able to chat her up about her newest hair transition:

Chaudie: So what was the thought process that led you to choose this lovely pinkish red in your hair?
Bree: It came out too bright, and instead of going to original dark color, I decided to go slightly darker and add pink. Literally a homage to Jem and Kimber of Jem and the Holograms ^_^;

C: Well it came out great of course! How long do you plan to keep this color?
B: Probably a long time. It's very pretty and I really like it.

C: It first you se well that it almost looks natural. What coloring products did you use? Brand wise?
B: I used manic panic for the pink, a professional brand gloss, and the red is a custom mix my cousin made for me. I'm not sure what brand the red is but it also glows under black lights like the pink does.

C: Wow! Do you have a picture of your hair under the black light?
B: Not yet buy my birthday part is at a place with black lights so I'll have some after my birthday party.

I know a lot of your miss AgeHOES but it's time for the show to evolve into something we can actually be proud of. I'm surprised at how much attention the show has gotten. And I'm happy for that. I think that the next develop will definitely bring in a lot of people and a wealth of information. So here's what's currently on my notepad about the show:

The Way of AgeNoir (Our Creed)

1. To Look Our Best at all time (Via Gigi)

1. But you can only do this after understanding the origins and development of Gyaru
7. Always work on improving your Makeup, Hair, and wardrobe
1. Even if you're at a look that's perfect for you, always be on the look out for new trends, makeup techniques and simpler ways of doing things.
2. As you progress through life, you situation will change, so should you look to reflect it.
3. Don't get stuck in one style, unless you're getting paid for it.
8. The Key to Gal is by not caring what anyone says, not even us.
1. But if you're willing to ask and keep an open mind, we are willing to help you.

New Features:

Mid month update

Hello everyone☆*:.｡. o(≧▽≦)o .｡.:*☆

I've pretty much been in a weird limbo since I had gotten sick. Plus, don't you hate it when you're expecting a big check that you seem to be brokest before the dawn? I know I do. So much will be done when next week comes. I have so much to prepare and buy, and all before Chinese New Year. I'm freaking out because a lot of people on Facebook is already wishing everyone a happy new year. I saw this that the first thing I thought was 'I'M NOT READY!'

If you look to your left, you'll see a purikura-style image of myself from when I last did my makeup. I'm participating in a Facebook group that's a combination of Uljjang/Ulzzang/Eoljjang and Gyaru. After we chatting over it, The Group name is Pronounced Gyazzang but will be writtten like this: ギャル짱 = gyaru jjang.

You're probably wondering why I'm so excited? Well... You'll just have to read more to find out.

Vlogger goals: This is amazing!

I've finally decided a bit ago to start doing videos on youtube and such. Not just for AgeNoir, but personal stuff as well. And I needed a goal or confidence boost, and I think I found it:

Beginner Gyaru tip: How to figure out your wardrobe

Clothing... in Gyaru terms, it can be the bane of your existence. Weight, size and shape come into factor. You want to post your newest outfit for your friends to see, but you don't want your beloved photo shitted on by G_S and the peanut gallery (the anons, And Glee, trololo,and I forget who else). But what can you do? Its hard to find the help you need when our community in online based. But, after giving this advice to a friend of mine, I thought it would be a true wealth of knowledge to share with all of you.

If you're looking for a current photo of me, be it G_S or anything else, please use this one. It's the first of the year. I decided to take a page from Rina's book and not use lower lashes. I used my naturally long lower lashes with the NYX Doll Eye mascara. It came out so well. But I really love that without the make up I look uljjang.

Simple Vlogging: Hopes and dreams

The Source of my thoughts (or at least my current one today), lies within this video I just watched:

I really liked how this music video was just focused on the singer, with a really beautiful cosmic overlay to her video.

How can I do that? IT looks so simple. I want to be able to make great videos while using windows media player.  I want to ask Joel about it but I'm not sure. Maybe I can get him to make a few title sequences for AgeNoir? Wait, my mind in wandering again...

A lot of big changes

As you can see, I'm blogging from blogspot again. I'm so sick of Wordpress. It's not that it isn't a good site. It's not that its done some horrible deed to me. It's just that I personally can not condone myself to pay for hosting cost when i can get them for free here. And that puts another $90USD in my pocket to spend on more important things like my family, wardrobe, and essential beauty items. 

I will be moving all my informative articles to the AgeHOES web show blog on posterous where they will make the best use for others. They will be rewritten and scheduled for publishing on a (hopefully) tri-weekly basis. So please check there for all your favorite articles remastered and updated for your viewing pleasure. 

A lot of you wanted to see more of my makeup trials and (i can only assume) wardrobe choices. You will definitely be seeing a lot of that. However my blog will be more about my hair and makeup in the aesthetics instead of a 'fashion' blog. My hair is my crown and my makeup is my public face. So its better for me to perfect those. 

Also, i will be finally working on my weight loss and skin care so you will be seeing a lot of that too. 

I hope you're able to enjoy this journey with me. During this 26th year of my birth I want to put myself in the state I want to be for the rest of my life: healthy, Pretty, Goddess-like, and Nerdy.
